Synthetics vs Mineral: The Great Engine Oil Debate

Engine oil is often called "the lifeblood" of the motor, and for good reason. It lubricates, cools, and cleans. But with hundreds of brands and weights (10W-40, 15W-50), which one is actually right for your engine?

Mineral, Semi-Synthetic, or Fully Synthetic?

Fully synthetic oils provide the best protection at high RPMs and temperatures. They stable longer and don't break down as easily. However, older engines might perform better with semi-synthetic oil to prevent seal leaks.

"The cheapest insurance for your engine is a regular oil and filter change. Never skip the filter — a dirty filter will contaminate your fresh oil in minutes."

Always check your oil level with the bike upright. A low oil level is the number one cause of catastrophic engine failure in performance bikes like KTMs and Triumphs.
